Sept. 20, 1942 Wendover, Utah Dear Dad and Mom: Another uneventful Sunday, nice and sunny but a cool breeze. Got up at 11 A.M. but for some reason or other we didnt have calesthentics which didnt make me at all angry. Washed out my dirty coveralls this afternoon soaked them for 24 hours in rinse which loosened up a lot of the dirt and grease but I dont know just how clean they are. I noticed the jackets aren't white so I don't expect it would pass your inspection. It seems a long time to go till our first meal we get up at 11 and arent fed until 6 P.M. I usually dont eat at 5 A.M. so I get pretty hungry before evening. It makes good business for the P. X. tho everyone buys, sandwiches, cakes cookies ice cream etc. Some breakfast, huh
