2 back today from his emergency furlough. His Mother was better when he got home so he had quite a nice time. He tried hitch hiking but didn't get along so well so took a train. Our supplies and equipment are being packed up but that doesnt mean much as they start getting ready weeks ahead of time but it isn't going to be long. Tonight we have an amatuer show at the boxing arena. One of the fellows in our barracks are going to be in it. One especially is good at impersonations, his take off on F. D. R. is really good and movie stars & other celebrities it seems he can do most any one. He's a good singer & all around good entertainer.
