Sept 24, 1942 Wendover, Utah Dear Dad & Mom: This has been a good day. Our work went along very smoothly, sometimes everything goes wrong but today it was the opposite we pulled three engines and have the new ones ready to slide into place so I feel good about that. We are having boxing matches tonight but they have already started so I don't believe I'll go. The [illegible] boy boxes quite often but I've only seen him box the once. Besides it is during our hour for chow so I'm not going. I hit the jack pot on mail tonight a letter from Aunt Cara, Grandma, and one from Ruby Boyle. Aunt Cara
