We are crowded in our barracks again, they have moved ten or twelve more fellows in. I have about 6" between bunks, its really mean to get around them. I have you send me a package by R.R. express? There's one for J.W Graham down town but I don't believe its mine & I haven't had time to investigate it. There's 69 cents C.O.D. I must find out about it. Got a nice letter from Brad this week. He gets a leave early in May . He is assigned to a ship and I think is very happy about it. He'll make a good officer. I found the candy in my cookie box I didn't know it was there when I first got the box. I got the money too, thanks I'll have enough for a while got paid day before yesterday $ 17.37 cents . Exorbitant wage [eh?] what. It's enough though a fellow doesn't have much opportunity to spend it. I'll try & write again tomorrow. Love Johnny
