Monday Ever Dear Mother and Dad: I enjoyed a lovely day at the Hugh Young's yesterday they were awfully nice and food was grand. Dinner & lunch. School is going okay, at the rate I'm going I'll be thru around the middle of June. I'll be glad to get out of here I think hope I'm sent to California for my actual factory training. The rumor is we may have a furlough after we complete the factory work the factory training lasts a month or six weeks. I like the present phase, I'm in engine repair, we learn to set valves adjust timing etc on engines which cost around $15,000, there is certainly lots of money represented here in the hangar we are working there must be 100 of these expensive engines. To say nothing of equipments, models, etc. I am going to move again to barracks 602 same squadron. I think it is due to the way classes are. We go there about three phase
