or is he with Dynamite. Bob says his business is good but he had taken his exams and expects to be taken in one of these days. If he could be stationed at the large field in Denver it wouldn't be bad as they make Dentists, officers and pay them quite well and they could live at home. They are reroofing all the buildings here due to damage done in the recent hail storm. Dad and Mule Hide Thompson would shudder to see how they are applying it, every nail exposed etc no roof edge they slat is with 1x2s on the bottom edge. I guess all the windows have been replaced in hangers etc. The fellows were playing half outside & just knocked a ball thru a door in the next door barracks how the glass tinkled. That will mean a nickel or 3 (cents) out of everyones packet who lives in the barracks, have to pay for broken windows etc. I have a hard time keeping clean with only two summer uniforms. I never wore a shirt for a whole week before, but there are lots of things you do differently in the army such as march to meals, get up by a whistle etc. I'll write again soon ah' yes we get Memorial Day off I am looking forward to this vacation I dont expect I'll do anything in particular but its a vacation Love Johnny
