Orleans at the same time & we compared cards, they must have been about the same places at the same time. Saw a quite nice bunch of horses yesterday. In the bunch were fine pretty little Palomino colts. Gosh they were nice. Must have been about 30 mares in the bunch and about 20 babies they surely looked nice galloping & playing around. Saw a couple of herds of kind of ordinary whitefaces. We are not far from the famous Waggoner Ranch, wish I might see it. Im glad the work on the silo is progressing nicely if it is sitting on rack it should have a good foundation anyway. I get a kick out of your newspaper clippings I really enjoy R.F.A's columns. I think he says some fine things. I don't need any towels. I've four & three wash clothes and if I get too many they are just a nuisance. I can wash them all after and they'll do until they are worn out. Also have two linen hand towels which I never use. We change sheets this morning so the barracks is a busy place, the dirty sheets must be folded just right when they are returned as they wont accept them & you have to do it over again. I'm on clean up today also there are few every day out of the barracks who have to see that things are clean. I get it about four days a month. Laundry on our uniforms is a problem, you send them out Monday & if you are lucky you get them back by Saturday so you are clean for Sunday. I just made it last week. Our barracks chief was kind enough to bring it over after I'd gone to school. He's a grand fellow. Love, Johnny
