on the roof. I believe as high as forty in the roof at one time I believe they are in each others road. I am half done with test blocks, I haven't liked it as well as some phases. The instructors have been crummy have learned to start & stop a couple of different types of air plane engines. It's quite a thrill to have 1400 or 1500 H. P. under the throttle. They are surely expensive to operate such a lot of gas & oil. We work in crews of eight men per engine. WE have four 1 1/2 hr periods 2 in the lecture rooms * two in the engine cells. The new school at Amarillo will soon be in full swing they are taking quite a few instructors from here and they are being replaced by rather inexperienced guys. Many of the civilian instructors are being inducted into the army & I think this is all right. They aren't worth the pay difference they now receive. Must quit I'll try & write again tomorrow. Love, Johnny
