July 27, 42 Dear Folks: Can't think of anything to write a letter about today. There is no place on the field to send a telegram out so I guess you'll just wait until you get the letter I sent yesterday. We heard Bing Crosby last night he is surely a great fellow he sang for an hour or more. He had been in Salt Lake playing an exhibition golf match for the red cross and then stopped here. Bob Hope was here too. The food here is good and its cool nights I believe I'll like it here even if there aren't any trees and green grass I guess I can get used to it. Write soon. Johnny
