1865 New Hartford October Sun., Oct. 1st 1865 I went to S School & to Church Eld Faucett Preached Took Julia Elmer home. She had been here two weeks. Mon Oct. 2d, at H. Peck all night S. Peck killed Henrys steer There is a sleight frost this morning. ground cane Tues. 3rd another light Frost-- Ground cane as usual Wed. 4th Crushed cane for Henry. he finished stripping Thu. 5 rainy this morning the Team worked 3/4 day Pa came up here with letter from Aunt Susan Fri. 6 worked for Henry to day
