1865 Grundy October Sat. Oct. 7 rainy the morning Brunson put on his Team from from 11 till one P.M. today Henry sent off 6 lds wheat 97 cts I have worked this week 6 days and Team 5 1/2 at G. Templars Sun. Oct. 8 New Hartford at home all day. Hannah & I went to Esthers after dark Mon. 9 crushed cane for Henry the "[arch was all?]" - "[five A.m.?]" Henry at H C Taylors till n. Tues. 10 Ground cane 1 Day Finished R Collins 10 pm Henry drew 1 ld. wheat A.m. Wed. 11 Ed Wheaton worked his Team. I turned out ours. drew wood & Skimmed.
