1865 Grundy October Thu. 12 Rainy worked till 10 A.m. and quit quit - rainy Picked 1 ld. corn Fri. 13 Finished "[draining?]" H. Pecks Sugar cane A.m. moved Molasses picked corn &c Sat. 14 A. Parthermer & myself dug potatos picked corn He came to G. T. with me this "[illegible]" "[away?]" & Arther brought "[them?]" back. At the Good Templars. I have worked this week 5 1/4 days Team 2 days Sun 15 "[J.?]" Folsom here all night I went to S School & afterwards to C. Ensigns. Charles & wife sick Mr Rice was there & came home with me Iseral Wells died last Friday
