New Hartford Oct 1865 Mon. 16. Mr. Rice & A.H. Dunning here all night. Abe took cars for Falls. I picked 2 lds corn to day "[on?]" J. Clark Tues. Oct. 17 Mr. Rice here still. Mrs. Rice arrived here noon I went to Clarks to pick corn took dinner there picked 1 ld Wed. 18 Mr. Rice & wife "[illegible]" & wife here all night Ed Collins here. P. "[Pa__]" 200,00 Rices Folks started for "[Ric___]" Hannah & I went to Esthers & back, Henry "[not?]" at home Thur 19 the Sun was Eclipsed Borrowed H. Hammonds wagon & picked corn 1 Ld, dug potatos. bot 70 ft pine, wagon box
