1865 New Hartford [illegible] Nov Wed. 22 Served a notice Smith & Guthrie to pay rent where they live. Drew in logs & 4 for Livingston Went to Esthers A. Parthemer agreed to come & work. Thu. 23 Commended taking out floor and grout in the old house. 2 windows stole Livingston cut & hewed 1,28 ft. Sill I rode Dell out to Esters Eve. Saw Art Parthemer & N. Peck. Fri. 24 Drew Sills to house. H (Lewis?) worked till noon framing &c sawed off sills &c P.M. [illegible - put Fann in with J. Maxwells horse to Singing School]
