New Hartford Dec. 1865 Tues 26 Hannah & Alice Hare here last night. Took Hannah to S. G. Ensigns the have gone to Floyd on a visit got one of our Bar room chairs Ovid Hare built a chimney P.M. at Meeting this eve Eld Faucett preached had the pleasure of Miss M. Raymonds company after & I stayed there till 3 A.M. I borrowed Charlotte Ensign's scarf back Saw Aunt Susan at Silas. B. Ensigns. & she rode to Mr. D. Ackersons with me She is going to spin some wolen yarn &c Today has been a very long day to me Should be an Engagement ring
