Memorandum Dec 1865 Wed. 27 Cut some soft maple for sled runners. Drew some things home from store The white calf died. Wm. & Jim Clark was here & pd. $100.00 a piece on notes at Mr. Faucetts evening till 7 oclock at Mr. Farrells in evening Burdick gave me $5.00 to pay his taxes & told me to get papers of Lathrop of Butler Centre Durce opened his store Gave my photograph to M. Burdick Thur Dec 28 Went to Butler Centre M. Raymond & J. Wilson went up with me. could not pay taxes The Girls took dinner at Hotel Got (illegible) Took Mr. Faucett Buggy from New Albron
