New Hartford Jan. 1866 Tues Jan 30 Drew 3 logs from Ketchman to the Saw Mill & one ld of wood home. got home 2 1/2 oclock p.m. At church in eve. Eld Faucett preached. Wed. Jan 31st Drew 1 ld of stone got home at half past one p.m. fixed the pony sleigh & Gilbert hitched up the ponies together for the first time at church this evening Eld Faucett preached. Thur. Feb 1st 1866 I drew 1 ld of stone I got stuck. Mr. Joneson hitched his horses on (illegible) & drew up hill M. L. Smith drew 1/2 load. I took the ponies & went after Aunt Susan. Hannah went out with me. Saw Mr. W.W. Beebee eve. (illegible in margin)
