Feb 16th Febuary 1866 Cut wood Drew 2 lds Gilbert let the horses break through the ice it stiffened them up at G. L. Smith's to meeting Put in a new (?) helve at Church in Eve Sat 17 Ground ax & cut wood & logs quite worse today drew 2 lds wood & 1d of Straw from Livingston. (?) manure that Gilbert & Drew with oxen at Church Eve. Everyone has been to Converse's this week Sun 18 went with Aunt Susan to Church stayed to Class. I joined the M. E. Church on 6 was probation. E. S. Maxwell class leader Took Aunt Susan and Hannah to Pecks Henry sent back one old harness. Hannah in church (more along margin)
