Mon Apr 9th 1866 We stayed at Eld. Faucetts last night. I went to C. Falls today with wheat got 92 cts, 22 bush. Sam Powers he says we can hold the Tuckerman lots it rained P.M. We took tea at Burdites Tues Apr 10 Put a fire on stove in (?) field. Pa throwed a stone and hit my eye I forward (?) I went to J Gradys to borrow a stone sledge but did not get it. Harmon gave an order for trees Mrs Converse called Wed 11. Sent order for (Freese?) Took Aunt Clara & wife to C. Ensigns visiting & put on our singletree & J. Davis made our doubletree 50. Livingston & I cut 3, 24, 2, 20 ft & 2, 12 ft sills P.M. Hannah came home (In margin - illegible)
