Fri. April 20 1866 Plowed for oats. Agreed with Burdicks boy to help me plowing @ 75. per day Michael Brannon helped me clean out-well. The wind blow very hard from S.W. & blew over the Hotel privy. Sat. April 21 Albert Burdicks plowed. Livingston and I made tavern privy A.M. B. D. Lewis & wife here to see sewing machine Dr. Wright prescribed for Mattie 25 Sun Apr 22 Quite warm At home all day with Mattie she is some better today Mr. Brannon here tonight Mon Apr. 23 rainy A.M. Mr. Brannon commenced fence back of Hotel (months work) dug ditch back of Hotel. Albert was here today.
