Tues. May. 8 1866 Judd Bradley came & surveyed he found the centre stake of S.28 West 8 inches of McIntosh's survey Mike made gate A.M. P.M. went to Cartwright's S. quary for sledge I drew 4 lds wood for Burdick with Lady Dell (?) Rep W. Box & (?) we have end rod Bor Jones windlass and Drew 1 ld of sand. bor 1 of C Maxwell revolver (In margin - CM Brannon is today called for 2.50 pr day.) Wed 9th Mike broke stone A. M. (?) we took all the dirt out of the NE corner of cellar E.E> Needham returned from the Army. Thu 10 Pa went to C Falls for lime. Mike commenced laying C wall hired Cole boy 2 1/4 days
