Fri May 11 1866 Eugene & I commenced taking up well took one rd. & it caved. Doctor found shell rock stayed here all night Mr (?) stone & call tended him Sat 12 (?) (?) out on W. time Twohig Ed & Hannah returned from meeting ten P.M. We patched up bar room P.M. Mike has put in 2 3/4 days (?) Ed & Hannah (illegible S. B Ensign to tea & eve. Sun 13 at church Eld Faucett stopped to (?) Mrs Hammon here to tea Mon 14 (?) layed small. I tend Pa burnted & cracked stone & set fire to the grass & fence on Twohig we put out fire eve
