Sat May 19 1866 Pa went after Aunt Susan Mike worked 2/4 day & finished laying wall until (?) home settled with mike pd him 90 cts making in all $32.20 for him he has layed cellar wall 6 3/4 days break stone 1 day and patching Hotel 3/4 day wall 8 1/2 dy at Twohigs he agrees to (?) 1/2 of fence (In margin - Pa got Aunt Susan) Sun May 20 Mattie is sick at home we went (riding?) by J. Grady's Mon May 21 Eugene & Gilbert went bag & baggage to their farm Amos & I grubbed N. of house Dr Wheelock here all night Livingston had team 1/4 day
