Reserved for Paige Mitchell. We live about 8-10 blocks from this hospital where we make our head quarters. We have no visible healing apparatus here they say that the people here do not have much use for fires. I think that I will miss the hot radiation to my back where I lay down on my [cot?]. Also another warmer that I miss more than that one. I suppose you will be shut up during week day pretty well but you can get out on Sat. & Sunday an you want to do it. You know you will have to get prepared for my hunting expeditions when I get back. I only wish I were there now with you but I hopes this war wont last so very much longer now. The Bulgarians and Turks seem to have a plenty of it now and I believe the Germans will not stand out when they get a good dose of it. The streets here are dark at night and it seems so funny to see the streets crowded and people moving about as if nothing unusual. Well dear I must close as my paper is used up. Give my love to Helen and you know I am so anxious to see you. I hardly know what to do. Your Husband Walt.
