train from N.Y. to Green's Farms, Conn. That is about 1 1/2 hrs. ride from here. We were met there with an auto by her cousins and taken for a long ride to their farm where we had dinner. The house is very old with wavy floors and an old knocker. It was so musty that the odor hit you in the face but you never saw such a house. It was full of fire places and one large one in the kitchen with an oven and the house was filled with lovely old old mahogany furniture and nothing had even been changed I guess.
