we go abroad they give us a heavy blue suit so I couldn't wear that blue suit until fall. Our clothes get so dirty hanging around that I hated to see this suit ruined. I have had it four years winter and summer and it has worn very well and always looks well now when it is cleaned so perhaps Lilian would like it if I am not here in the fall. The dirty curtains are some I had for the kitchen in the ward and thought you might like them for the kitchen at home. I have the rods too but they are packed in a suit case which I will send to you if we go away. We hear so many rumors and I've seen so many nurses go off with their affairs in a mess that I am trying to straighten mine before I go. We miss the nurses who went last week very much and I'd give anything to see them in N.Y. but I guess we won't go
