Aug. 25th My dear mother & father. It has been a whole week since I wrote to you and I intended to write often but so little happens that we can tell. We are now in our own hospital buildings and quarters and have done quite a bit of decorating in our rooms but still yu wouldn't think they were very wonderful. We room by twos and I have a very nice roommate. I had one whole day off duty and went up to the largest town near here in the ambulance. It is rather difficult to get transportation so the nurses who go do all the shopping for the rest. We had so many
