Oct 7th 1918 My dearest mother and father- It was a great relief to get a letter from you telling me that you have stopped worrying about me. We are so comfortable here that it is hard to realize that anyone may be worrying about us. I wish I could explain the exact situation and you would know that I am very well and very happy. We are much busier but still have long hours off duty in which to be out of doors and also to rest. I think every nurse is really healthier than ever before and we have plenty of good food well
