Dear Dad and Mom, Every letter you got from me tells of a change of schedule, this one is no exception. Starting today me work 6 hours unless there is an inspection due.Then we work 12.. there will usually be one due however. I am working from 12 noon til 6 PM now, every two days we change shifts. This will be a lot better there was so much [grumbling?] before they had to do something. The Colonel say we must remove all marking from our coveralls, so I'll have to take [illegible] off mine. He thinks it's unmilitary I guess also we were notified the planes were to be washed after. He doesn't know I reckon that camaflauged planes are not to be cleaned but will [illegible] no doubt. A guy just told me these barracks were contracted for $12,500 {illegible] I can't see it they are about 32 x 90 ft. two story. Used # 2 dimension mostly,
