Oct. 29, 1943, Sioux City- Dear Dad & Mom: Every day, every hour I have expected to leave here but not as yet. The work is completed at least temporarily. we are just loafing now but Im enjoying myself, so dont care much when we leave. Some of the fellows have furloughs at hand tho so would like to return to Pueblo. Went to the show here on the field last night "The Major & the Minor". Ginger Rogers and Ray Millard, it was quite clever and I enjoyed it very much. Though I might go to town this evening I havent been in since you folks were here, gosh it was good to see
