Nov. 6, 1942 Pueblo, Dear Dad & Mom: It is a grand day today, real cold last night but bright & clean now. We are on the other shift now from noon until midnight this is better you can get some sleep from midnight till morning. Went to town yesterday saw a show and looked around some not much doing I came home quite early and caught up on some sleep. Just got done cleaning up the barracks, they are quite strict about how the barracks look and have lots of different ways of making you wish you had cleaned it up if you didn't, forfieture of passes, confinement to barracks etc. Took my watch to town yesterday
