Dear Dad and Mom: Another hot day which tanned me a shade or two blacker. I'm darker than the Chief man, he is still with us and working in the mens hall. We have another indian who is an engineer instructor a very intelligent fellow and all the guy seem to like him. We got paid as per schedule today I tried to get a money under but there was too long a line. It seems no matter what you want to do in the army you have to swear and a long line. I'll try and get [it] tomorrow. I wasn't very busy today, we changed two generators, and generator [conductor], changed the setting on a propeller generator and fit in a new brake exhauster. Also replaced a [cone] flap which was broken. Tomorrow will be April Fools day do your [workkase] [Baf] will get something on you. One of the first April fooling I can remember of as a kid was one [Baf] got on you Mom. You were [an] in the dining room or kitchen and Dad was in the front room looking and that camera
