window where we always had the Christmas tress. He called "Ona come and see Peggy Evans new hat" and you came in a hurry. It was on Sunday morning I remember and you expected her to be going to church. Isnt it funny the things you remember that happened when you were a kid. Many of the fellows have colds it seems funny as hot as its been but there has been a good bit of dust lately which accounts for the the sore throats. Ive a touch of it myself but nothing serious. Should wash a few clothes tonight so everything will be clean to move with. I only have one dirty pair of sox which need darning and shorts and a hanky. Doesnt take long or seem like much of a job at that rate but just let it get ahead once. You should hear the harmonizing in the shower room. It must be full from the noise and some of the fellows have good voices. Right now they are "Seeing Nelly Home". Thats what we call my old airplane "Smelly Nelly". Most all of them have nicknames the one which hit a cactus a while back is "Cactus Clipper" another "blue Cuzo", "Roanoke Rambler", "Marquita" and many others. Think I'll try & write to Uncle Raymond too tonight so will sign off. Love Johnny
