This camp is a small one, just room for one group like ours and the usual guard squadron and other necessary evils, headquarters etc. The barracks are tar papered but much nicer than Windams they are constructed of [Celatex?] and then covered with the paper, have cement floors in them. We have a hanger just large enough for one plane to do our maintenance in during bad weather. I think Ill like this place alright. it is quite a new place and needs lots of landscaping etc which I expect will fall on us to do. The country is beginning to green up a bit and it is surprisingly warm. there is a large lake close to camp where ther are fish supposedly and if I get a chance Im going fishing. There are rolling hills and small mountains near here and some trees on them which looks good to me. The hills still have snow on them but around the area it is dry and warm. We have a large recreation hall, small P.X. but it has quite a lot of stuff. the grounds have a base ball diamond & place for football, horseshoe etc. Havent been to town yet of course but will tell you about it when I do. They are building a latrine & shower room between every two barracks, which will be handy right now our squadron area has a central one but it is roomy and should be easy to keep clean. We have great drinking water, tastes good and like ice as it come from the faucet. Its [illegible] [you?] [know?] regular mountain water as it comes cascading down the mountain side. The barracks havent been [wiped?] for several months and are dusty and so is the mess hall but should be very pleasant when clean.
