you can tell your paint customers the air corps uses a lot of Sone Bros. For second grade it did well to come up to rigid govt. specifications dont you think? District attorney just came on the air so I presume we are listening to the same program. Poor old Uncle Jake had a close call didnt he. I feel kind of like the folks at the farm burrow meeting. I rode with Uncle Jake several years ago and held my breath a few times then. I'm glad milan's cookies cookies got there okay. Poor kid I hope he begans to get a few breaks pretty soon. It makes me see how lucky Ive been since I got in lots of times I havent liked what I had to do but its better than the infantry. So you are gardening under the maple tree again It seems to me that every year since I can remember we have been seeding under the maple tree. This is Jim's recommendation isnt it? [illegible] [fesque?]? hope it does grow. Crain did mess things up some I'll bet, he is a pretty good guy but mighty thick in the head. It does make a mess when they dont put in the boards and I know about how that poor yard looks. I am sorry to hear of Whitneys condition I didn't realize it was so serious. Who is running the lumber yard, helping Russell? What Mrs. Schatz does Dickey take lessons from and does he like them better than I did when I was his age. Love Johnny
