I have heard nothing more about what we are going to do but suppose soon after the holidays we will move somewhere. I have small hopes in going home until spring however. Of course we might get word to sail for home any day and it would suit me very well. I am rooming with a Caps Davis and Penn. We don not have a very large room but it does pretty well. Next to us we have Lt. Col Hubbard who I met in Boston and Maj Freebury of Chicago who is a nice Thianr wau. I am reading some French history now of about 16-17-18 cens and it is more interesting than ever
