I do not think that it is wise for us to get any more tangled up with European policies than we are as present and as soon as we can get out of here the better for the States. I seriously question whether Pres. Wilson will get out of Europe as big as when he came I do now think the American people will be pleased to have this hob bobbing with royalty as we have been and we get in deeper all the time-We also have a sir in the states to whom this sort of thing appeals too much. Well I must close. hope you have had a very merry Christ mas. Tell Helen I have a surprise for her. Yours with love, Walter
