I went to see Rigoletto played last night at the Opera. I was thinking all the time of how much you would have enjoyed it. They also gave Rebecca. The opera her is conducted by the govern-ment so that a good support is assured. The costumes were fine also the music was as good as any possible to obtain. It commences at 7.30 and is out at 11 p.m. It is pretty well patronized by the French and the Americans & British. I admire the inside of the place very much. I am Officer of the Day today so I cannot get out of the [illegible] until tomorrow although there is not much in the way of work.
