I wish I might go down there with you and have pleasant visits with your mother. You must not get so dissatisfied with every thing as you appear to. With regard to trouble with people we always have some of that and they try in every way to avoid to paying after the work is done. Do not worry about that as other Drs are in the same boat as we are. We evacuated here this week and we only have about 100 patients here now and they can be sent out at any time. We are located at the north end of Paris at a gate in the city wall. The city is built in a circle and the military roads leave the city in the directions of other cities and are called Portes and named after the city which the road leads to. There are so many interesting things here that one forgets little
