evening. We went to our rooms in this hotel and after cleaning up we had dinner. There are 10 people in our party. Three nurses and three red Cross men and 4 officers of army. This is supposed to be the best hotel in Old Austria and is surely fine These places are so filled with people of all stations in life that one does not know who he is traveling with. To day the Duke of [Acosla's?] son was in our party and is a fine fellow speaking English very well One of our nurses is a Mrs Phillips of Brooklyn the wife of an attorney She is a very nice person. Has been in the game 1 1/2 yrs. It is surely wonderful how these people have given up things to help out. They are only too glad to do what they can for every body from U.S. The dining rooms and cafes in this hotel must easily hold 1500 people and believe me they wear
