Jany 30th 1919. Well I guess I am at the end of my journey at least for a while We left Trieste day before yesterday and came down to Zagreb the capital city of the Yugo Slavic country. It is a town of about 50 - 60000 and is one of the best small cities I have seen since leaving home. The people are very good. and the country is very much like the farming country at home with land selling at about the same price. We stayed there all night getting beds at the naval officers club. We arose at 7 oc had break fast and then went to the train. I never saw such a conglomeration of people as get on at one of these trains. Ours was composed of 60 cars and all full.
