Shaw nee Co Kansas January the 9, 1870 My dear, I this morning seat my self to drop you afew lines to let you know that we are all well at this time I have to. William H. Jonson Since we come here and I wrote you afew lines in decembr and I conclude that I would wite to you again about this country as I had not wrote to you in a good while we started to move to Kansas on the 4 day of October and we went about 100 miles West in the State of Iowa and then we turned and went a South West course through the North West part of Mo. by the way of St Joseph about 75 miles and then we turned and went about 150 miles West in the State of Kansas to to the Republickan River and then we turned and went about 100 miles South East and then we quit and are here yet Wolfe.
