Dear Dad and Mom: It is cold and raw here today, wind is blowing hard and its spitting rain. I still don't think this is such a swell place to live I know it doesn't just suit me. I don't like a country that is so dry and dead looking I'm sure it would look better covered with snow. We got another new (and hand) ship in yesterday it is in much better shape than the other one we got and a newer model. Just yesterday we got the first one all ready to go and it is flying okay and no pieces have dropped off. Got a letter yesterday from Ches Mattke he is at Coleman Texas which is approximately in the center of the state. I don't believe he cares much for the lone star state either. Say the dust blows there too. Got your letter with the account of [illegible] sale in it. The plane looked pretty good with the white fences and all. Wouldn't Raymond be right in the center of things tho and with a big grin. I just hope Grandma gets the place well rented this year they might get more out of it than the it has been going. Washed a slug of clothes last night and hung them over the gas heater they were well dried this morning. They had soaked about thirty six hours
