They dont know anything about B-24s, when they get on top of the wing to refuel they are scared to death for fear they'll fall off how their eyes pop out when you put 500 gallons in one tank, the ones they are used to hold about 40 for the whole ship. Dad I expect Mr. Antes knows all about filling out a soldiers income tax and any deductions he's entitles to. If you want to know anything about what I've earned in the army tell me + I'll figure it up. How much corn do Donald + Graham have to sell? Maybe I should get some for that 9000+ some pounds I was shown when Bill came on the place. You know where that ship is in that box showing I owe him corn and what he owed me yet on my car. I think we will need the feed. We should have a bunch of [illegible] to go before so long so we could get that settled. Hows the weather at home? has it warmed up any? Hope so, it was hot here when I got back thats quite a change in temperature from 30˚ below to about 75˚ when I got back here for all that Iowa seemed good. Investigated that specialists training a little further when I got back didnt find out much but did learn you have to be a S/Sgt. before you can get it so Ive got a promotion to sweat out before I am eligible. Well Im going to turn in havent rested up yet from the train ride. Had quite a little mail when I got back here. Love Johnny
