to recuperate. You need it too because you get absolutely no sleep, their is some one to be wakened every hour of the day + night due to the flight schedules, guard duties, shift changes etc. Then there are people to be notified of phone calls, telegrams to be delivered missing persons to be found, specialists (electricians propeller men, instrument men + others who work subject to call. Pres. Roosevelt is speaking now but there is so much racket here in the day room that Im not hearing much of it. Expect you are listening in too maybe hearing it all. I think Ill try and get a wrist watch hand down town here someday so just let it go. So few are long enough it would just be a lucky chance if you found one. Im glad the Anti's are pleased over Agnes's marriage didn't know how they would like it. Ill be you did have a good time + feed at the Rhodes wish I might have been there too. I got a card from them last week. Hasnt Burrill Peterson done well. I think thats great he is a good egg and Im glad to see him get on so well. He must have enjoyed it very much and will A.C. be proud and can will be. I'll try + write Aunt Jennie in the very near future hope she gets along okay and recovers form her shock quickly. Love Johnny
