to haul mail with his sled dogs and of Jackson where people were snowed in. I guess the have pretty good races. At least he seemed pretty interested in them. This field is really pretty a night the runway are all lighted up all light pales etc near the landing ramps have red lights on top and all the windows in the barracks lighted up its really quite a sight. From the air its a grand view seems to cover acres. I'm still wondering about my income tax. I'll tell you what I made in the army. About $10 in February, 3 months at 21 dollars, 3 months at $50, 3 mos at 54 bucks, one month at 66.A soldier (single) is allowed a $750 exemption so whatever the farm made should be figured in.All the guys here are figuring theirs up but few of them have to pay. Must go out on the line again tonight see how my plane is coming along, had an oil leak tonight which is in a very bad place to get at, have to remake part of the exhaust manifold, intake manifold [illegible] flaps before you can ever get at it, then perhaps you cant tighten it so is is a discouraging job.Guess Id better quit for tonight will write again tomorrow. Love Johnny
