sometimes supper + midnight snack. We still kind of guess we may go north when spring comes on up there, I am looking forward to seeing some trees + green grass again. This country right close here doesnt grow a thing, but over near Phoenix they irrigate and grow cotton, alfalfa, garden [truck?] etc. If I could just get a 48 hour pass I would go over and see Gordon Sheppard, he sent me such a nice invitation to come over, before I came home on furlough. He lives in Phoenix and like to see him Im getting pretty sleepy, believe I'll take a cat nap will try + write again tomorrow. Love Johnny
