The days are certainly getting longer all right. Most every evening seems to get a little longer and I guess they should be as it will soon be spring. The barracks are a mess tonight all tracked up with this red mud. You would think as dry as it was the ground would soak up all the rain that could fall but we've got mud and how. Havent been riding yet but some Sunday I think I'll get a saddle horse and try it, will probably be so stiff I cant walk. Several of the fellows have been riding. One guy from Massachusetts fell off and got all scratched up. he had only been on a horse once before. Will have to stop now. Love Johnny
