and sliced bermuda onions. They have a new cook who makes good salads, some queer combinations but they taste good. I'm glad Bill finally sold the extra calves. It seems as tho they brought pretty good money for what they were. The winter must have been very hard on livestock, things just dont do too well when the weather is so severe The prices being what they are kind of make up for the bad weather etc. Had a letter from Uncle Raymond the other day he said they have the place over half paid for only $12,500 yet to go and he seemed quite happy and optimistic about it. So Milan has to go before so long he will probably enjoy the experience and may do very well in some particular line of work. I hope he can get into what he wants as long as he has to go. Uncle Raymond + Aunt Ethel will surely miss him. As usual there seems nothing to write about. So Ill quit. Love Johnny
