you might think the blankets would scratch but they never seem to bother me. Just got my B-4 bag, jacket, and flight coveralls back from the parachute department where they sewed on the leather name plates. Went to the show last night instead of finishing my letter as I should of so I'll try and complete it this morning can't find anything much to write about. Its going to be another hot day and there is some dust blowing You can look off across the country and see little whirlwinds with the dust going up several hundred feet. Once in awhile one will pass by right where you are and it will suck your hat right off and pick it up any [illegible] or boxes that are around. The show last night was good "The Desparadoe" they certainly had some beautiful horses in it. Dad would enjoy it I'm sure as its the kind we both like maybe you wouldn't enjoy it much mom. They are doing a lot more building down here. School buildings, mess halls etc. Have big crews working on them. Assemble the rafters, studding and floor just in our [ring?] and lift it in place with a derrick. Tell Frank Kahler just like we build corn cribs. They can get a lot done in a day. Must go back out on the line so it is almost rime for my shift to come in. Love, Johnny
